  The countertop process, including cleaning and prep, typically takes 1-2 days to complete.

  While stone finishes are very popular, we can refinish your countertops in a variety of colors. We offer a wide spectrum of colors to perfectly match your existing décor or create a bold new statement.
• Does countertop resurfacing come with a warranty? Show Answer
  Yes, we offer a 10-year limited warranty on our refinishing services. The warranty specifically covers bubbling, blistering, warping, and peeling due to workmanship or product defects during normal residential use. If the primer and finishing coat adhesion fail, you are covered.
• When can I use my newly refinished countertops? Show Answer
  You can typically use your countertops normally just 24-48 hours after completion.
• How long will my reglazed countertops last? Show Answer
  If you follow our maintenance instructions, your refinished countertops should last for many years. We have seen many refinished counters that remained in excellent condition after 10+ years of use.
• Can my countertops be resurfaced more than once? Show Answer
  Usually, refinishing previously refinished countertops is not a problem. However, there is typically some extra work involved with stripping the old coating. Please let us know if your countertops have already been refinished.
• Should I paint before or after refinishing? Show Answer
  It is best to paint the walls, especially where they meet the countertops, after refinishing. Prepping the countertops for refinishing requires masking off the area, and fresh paint is notorious for chipping or peeling. Boise Bathtub Refinishing is not responsible for any paint peeling or chipping that takes place during refinishing.
• Does reglazing cause an odor? Show Answer
  Yes. Urethane finishes contain solvents, which are necessary to make the surface hard and durable. If you are sensitive to smells, it is recommended you leave the house during kitchen counter resurfacing. We use a ventilation system to reduce the odor while we are working. Depending on the home, the odor will dissipate about 5-20 hours after refinishing is complete.
• When is payment due for countertop refinishing? Show Answer
  Payment is due at the time of job completion. Commercial accounts are invoiced, with payment due within 30 days. We accept card (with a 4% fee), check, and Venmo.
